WHAT IS EWA: LEARN ENGLISH & SPANISH
Using TV program and movie clips, the educational software EWA teaches English idioms and vocabulary. To teach English, the app combines audio, visual, and translation techniques. HOW DOES EWA: LEARN ENGLISH & SPANISH WORK?
In order to teach English, EWA incorporates word games with movie and television snippets. A pop-up banner questioning if access should be permitted shows on the screen when children attempt to open a course with mature content for the first time. The user has the discretion to access adult content. Kids viewing the body category with adult content disabled will see words like “my shoulders” and “my head.” When mature content is playing in the same category, they will hear expressions like “my love handles,” “I strained my groin!” and “I admire your muffin top.”
